SmallScaleCars is a small business I started due to several frustrations I have experienced as a collector.
Why I started SmallScaleCars
1.) As someone who’s interested in a lot more of the niche die-cast brands, or niche car makes & models, I struggled to find anywhere in the UK that supplied them.
It’s my aim to integrate the more niche brands into the website and bring a much bigger assortment of cars to the UK market.
2.) While this piggybacks a little off of #1, there’s a serious lack of access to special models from around the world. This is especially the case when it comes to Hot Wheels.
There are a lot of cool exclusives that are released around the world, that are pretty much impossible to source as a UK collector.
3.) I was sick of receiving models in little to no packaging. Some sellers were more than happy to send cars in bubble-wrapped envelopes, and that’s not good enough!
It’s my #1 goal to have the best packaging, making sure the products you buy arrive to you in the best possible quality.
What we sell
As a small business, we need to focus on items that attract customers and have a quick turnover. As we grow and expand, we will hold a bigger inventory and be able to expand the models and brands that we hold.
Pre-orders are a great way for us to expand our catalogue, as we don’t actually hold the items. It does however mean you have to wait for your item as manufacturer times can be months away.
Right now, 1:64 is our focus, however, we will expand our offering as we grow.

We do not have a physical storefront, just a return address.
